Balance for Better Business (B4BB) has today published new research revealing that women aged 50-65 are leaving the workforce earlier than men, reducing the pool of experienced talent available for senior leadership and board roles.

Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke TD today announced the appointment of Carolan Lennon as Co-chair of Balance for Better Business (B4BB), an independent review group established by Government eight years ago tasked with improving gender balance in senior business leadership in Ireland.

The latest data from the Balance for Better Business (B4BB) Review Group, reveals continued consolidation in the proportion of women on the boards of Ireland’s largest listed companies.
